The rule is that a church funeral is given to all who wanted this kind of funeral and who fulfil the criteria of affiliation to the Catholic community. The canon law gives only general exceptions from this rule, determined by the doctrine of canon law. Therefore, the conclusion is that a refusal of a funeral according to the canon law is possible solely in case of proving the deceased guilty which results in deprivation of such a right.plAttribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/pl/prawolawprawo kanonicznecanon lawKodeks Prawa KanonicznegoKościółChurchKościół katolickiCatholic Churchpogrzebyfuneralskremacjaapostaciheretycyschizmatycyjawnogrzesznicycremationapostateshereticsschismaticspublic sinnersprawo do pogrzebu kościelnegoPozbawienie pogrzebu kościelnego w przepisach Kodeksu Prawa Kanonicznego z 1983 r.Deprivation of the right to a church funeral in the 1983 Code of Canon LawArticle
