Po wyjaśnieniu hermeneutyki teologicznej oraz poszczególnych etapów metody Panofsky’ego zostają omówione różnice między tymi dwiema metodami. W ujęciu zaproponowanym przez autorkę obie te metody, różniące się zasadniczo, mogą stanowić uzupełniające się podejścia badawcze.The author discusses the differences between two methods: theological hermeneutics and the iconographic and iconological method of Erwin Panofsky in the interpretation of images with religious content. After explaining theological hermeneutics and Panofsky’s method, the author discusses a number of differences between these two methods.
