He takes into consideration such issues as compiling the most compete possible set of sources, being aware of periodization of changes in the liturgical texts, problems connected with dating and localization of books, questions of the original manuscript and of the use of technical means in the research of sources. Relying on a long experience of work with manuscripts and old printed books collections, the author presented a series of suggestions for effective source research work.
