Hitherto existing rules of the Canonic Law Code have been considerably soften lately by the following dispositions: a) the lnstruction of the Faith Doctrine Congregation „Matrimonii sacramentum” of 18 III 1966, b) Decree of the Congregation for Oriental Churches „Cresicens matrimoniorum mixtorum” of 22 II 1967 and c) M.P. of Paul VI „Matrimonia mixta” of 31 III 1970. That will undoubtedly contribute to more frequent contractions of the marriages between Catholics and Orthodoxes in our country.
