One of the most famous dictionaries is Ambrosius Calepinus’ dictionary written in 16th century. The Library of the Theological and Pastoral Institute and Seminary of Rzeszow among its collection has two specimens of this dictionary, of which one of them contains very interesting inscriptions, marginal notes and ownership marks. Thanks to research devoted to this kind of traces it is possible to investigate the past of the certain volumes and to see how the thoughts and ideas of individual owners and readers were formed.plCC-BY-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Na tych samych warunkachBiblioteka ITPiWSD w Rzeszowiestarodrukisłownik Calepinabadania proweniencyjneBiblioteka Instytutu Teologiczno-Pastoralnego i Wyższego Seminarium Duchownego w Rzeszowiebibliotekibiblioteki seminaryjnesłownikiWSD w RzeszowieWyższe Seminarium Duchowne w RzeszowieRzeszówseminaria duchowneLibrary of the Theological and Pastoral Institute and Seminary of Rzeszówold printsCalepinus’ dictionaryprovisional researchlibrariesseminary librariesdictionariesdivinity schoolsJedenastojęzyczny słownik Calepinusa z roku 1598 przechowywany w Bibliotece Instytutu Teologiczno-Pastoralnego i Wyższego Seminarium Duchownego w RzeszowieEleven Languages Calepinus’ Dictionary from 1598 Stored in the Library of the Theological and Pastoral Institute and Seminary of RzeszówArticle
