The method used in considering the problem is the method of comparative law study. There are collated two laws of the Churches that regulate preparation for entering marriage. After a presentation of current discipline, the idea of a possibility of ecumenical preparation for marriage is discussed. At the end, there is formulated a postulate de lege ferenda.
