Zauważono, że odzyskanie przez Polskę niepodległości stało się silnym impulsem do zebrań plenarnych biskupów obrządków łacińskiego, grekokatolickiego i ormiańskiego. Istotnym zagadnieniem omawianym w niniejszym opracowaniu jest także aktywność komisji: edukacyjnej, charytatywnej, misji, Akcji Katolickiej. Omówiono także rolę wybranych hierarchów w organizacji życia religijnego w Polsce. W artykule poruszono również rolę kapituł katedralnych.The article focuses on the role of the Polish bishops’ conferences and cathedral chapters for the organisation of pastoral care in Poland between the world wars. Poland’s regaining of independence was noted to have provided a strong impetus for plenary meetings of bishops of the Latin, Greek Catholic, and Armenian rites. Of unique significance in the study is the activity of the commissions for education, charity work, missions, and of the Catholic Action. The text discusses the role of selected prelates in the organisation of religious life in Poland.
