Podstawą analizy są prace wybranych polskich historyków. Zwrócono uwagę na podręczniki historii chrześcijaństwa w Polsce oraz prace monograficzne poświęcone szczegółowym problemom związanym z dziejami Kościoła prawosławnego na ziemiach ruskich państwa polsko-litewskiego w XVI i XVII wieku. Poddano analizie również artykuły, w których pojawia się problem działalności edukacyjnej bractwa lwowskiego.The paper discusses the educational activity conducted by the Orthodox Church fraternitie in Lviv in the second half of the 16th and 17th centuries. Attention was paid to textbooks on the history of Christianity in Poland as well as monographic works devoted to specific problems related to the history of the Orthodox Church in the Ruthenian lands of the Polish-Lithuanian state in the 16th and 17th centuries.
