The article offers an assessment of three most important documents that set out the principles and conditions for the celebration of the traditional liturgy: Summorum Pontificum, Quattuor Abhinc Annos and Ecclesia Dei. As the study demonstrates, access to the unreformed Holy Mass rite was gradually extended and facilitated though the motu proprio Ecclesia Dei introduced no serious changes in this respect. However, even Benedict XVI’s document did not grant the faithful complete access to the entire liturgical tradition of the Roman Catholic Church as there are still certain customs and ceremonies that cannot be preserved and celebrated under the present regulations.plCC-BY-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Na tych samych warunkachSummorum Pontificumliturgikaliturgiateologiaobrzędy liturgiczneryt rzymskiobrzędy liturgiczne rytu rzymskiegofilozofiatradycyjne obrzędy liturgiczne rytu rzymskiegodokumenty KościołaQuattuor abhinc annosEcclesia Deimotu proprio Ecclesia Deimotu proprio Summorum PontificumMszał Jana XXIIIMszał Pawła VIksięgi liturgicznekultkult katolickibogactwoliturgyliturgicstheologyliturgical ritesRoman riteliturgical rites of the Roman ritephilosophytraditional liturgical rites of the Roman riteChurch documentsJohn XXIII’s MissalPaul VI’s Missalliturgical bookscultCatholic cultwealthDroga do „Summorum Pontificum”.
