The presented outline of social, national and religious changes that occurred in the inter-war period constitutes a good reason to continue historical research in the involvement in church life of the faithful and their inner formation. The confraternities mentioned were supervised by the Grudziądz Union of Catholic Confraternities and Societies established in 1927.
