In the theoretical part it shows the theological outline of angelology. mainly on the basis of the Holy Scriptures, Polish theological literaturę and the contents of selected handbooks for catechizing the students. The subjects’ opinions of angels are presented on the basis of empirical study results. making use of answers to 6 out of 16 review questions given by 856 subjects catechized in secondary and high schools. The sources of their knowledge about angels (mainly catechesis and the Holy Scriptures), their knowledge about the origin of angels (from God. from heaven...), the concept of the angel (God’s Servant, spiritual being...), roles played by angels in the Holy Scriptures (heralds of future events and God’s will...), the angels' present role (people’s protectors, Guardian Angels...) and the subjects’ suggestions concerning teaching angelology in catechesis (students ask for broader and more detailed information about angels). The catechized young people do not have too broad or detailed knowledge of angelology and they suggest that they should be taught about angels in a reliable and versatile way.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/angelologiakatechizowaniopiniekatechezateologiateologia pastoralnaangelsangelologycatechized peopleopinionscatechesistheologypastoral theologyaniołyAngelologia w opinii wybranych grup katechizowanychAngelology in the Opinion of Selected Groups of Catechized PeopleArticle
