Tradition of vigorous cult of Our Lady, connected with image, has come down to the present time. The use of singing a special song devoted to the God’s Mother every day before the Morning Prayer was introduced to the choir prayer of the community of Staniątki already in the 13th century. During of the centures there were introduced another religious practices at this convent, as: “Officium Parvum BMV”, nine-weeks novenna before the solemnity of Immaculate Conception BMV; “szopka” – a sort of the cristmas crib; “The Funeral of Our Lady” at the Feast of Assumption. The miracolous image was crowned with papal crowns in 1924 year. Many document attested the graces granted here, especially healings of soul and body, can be fonded in the archives of the monastery. At the present time the benedictine community at Staniątki keeps these religious practices: Rosary, Angelus, “Godzinki” [a sort of the poems devoted to the Blessed Mary; the votive mass every Saturday and the novenna to the Mother God of Perpetual Assistance.
