Komunikacja tego typu poważnie oddziałuje na odbiorców cyfrowych treści, którzy w „galaktyce wirtualnych przestrzeni” nie zawsze mogą liczyć na narracje pewne i bezpieczne, których wątek kreśliłby wzniosły kontur życia w sieci i poza nią. W tym aspekcie problematyka narracji znalazła omówienie w przygotowanym przez papieża Franciszka Orędziu na 54. Światowy Dzień Środków Społecznego Przekazu pt.: «Obyś mógł opowiadać i utrwalić w pamięci» (por. Wj 10, 2). Życie staje się historią. Myśl przewodnia zogniskowana została wokół słowa, które „oddycha prawdą dobrych historii, takich, które budują, a nie niszczą; historii, które pomagają odnaleźć korzenie i siłę, aby iść razem naprzód”. Komunikowanie jest fundamentalnym atrybutem i sposobem istnienia człowieka; jest ekspresją i kreacją ludzkiej natury. To w przekazie osoba się ujawnia, informuje o sobie; poprzez słowo opisuje świat, nawiązuje dialog. Papieskie orędzie motywuje do przyjęcia odpowiedzialności za słowo, także e-słowo. Zachęca do tworzenia narracji, które budują międzyludzkie mosty szacunku, więzi i solidarności.The contemporary civilization, having at its disposal comprehensive resources of knowledge and information, as well as technological possibilities, is dominated by image and media communication. This type of communication has a serious impact on the recipients of digital content, who in the “galaxy of virtual spaces” cannot always count on reliable and safe narratives, the thread of which would outline a lofty contour of life on the Internet and beyond. In this aspect, the issue of narrative was discussed in the Message prepared by Pope Francis for the 54th World Communications Day entitled: “May you tell stories and memorize” (cf. Ex 10: 2). Life becomes history. The keynote was focused around the word that “breathes the truth of good stories, those that build, not destroy; stories that help you find your roots and the strength to move forward together”. Communication is the fundamental attribute and way of human existence; it is an expression and creation of human nature. It is in the message that the person reveals himself, informs about himself; through the word he describes the world, establishes dialogue. The Pope’s message motivates us to take responsibility for the word, including the e-word.
