Resignation of the term, treated by Christian anthropology as a component on which immortality is based, consequently led to a change of a man’s image and his final destiny. In response, J. Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, referring to the liturgical tradition, recognized the concept of human soul as a key phrase in explaining eschatological truths. At the same time he indicated some reasons for this phenomenon and noticed its dangers for Christianity.plCC-BY - Uznanie autorstwaduszaeschatologialiturgiaJoseph RatzingerBenedykt XVIteologiateologia dogmatycznadogmatykareforma liturgicznasobór watykański IInauczanie papieskienauczanie Benedykta XVIsouleschatologyliturgyBenedict XVItheologydogmatic theologydogmaticsliturgical reformSecond Vatican CouncilVatican IIpapal teachingBenedict XVI’s teachingZnaczenie pojęcia duszy dla rozwoju twierdzeń eschatologicznych.
