In order to show such problems, first an ordered vision of goals and tasks in integral catechesis has been given. In this context some essential determinants of local education were given together with its goals in integral catechesis. It has been noticed that the goals are concentrated around the student’s acquisition of the amount of knowledge about his or her region, showing its universal values, introducing into the world of values in the given milieu and shaping “pluralistic identity.” Owing to this kind of teleology of local education as carried out in integral catechesis it is possible to initiate an interdisciplinary dialogue, especially the penetration of the evangelical message to the area of culture. This is the process of a dynamic transmission of the Gospel, directed to the preaching of the Word of God. It can reach a concrete man who lives under particular socio-cultural circumstances. In this process we can harmonize local culture in the “light of faith.” At the same time, we can help those who participate in catechization by forming mature and responsible Christian attitudes, “rooted” in a concrete local society, including the ecclesial society.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/edukacjaedukacja regionalnakatechezakatecheza integralnakatechetykateleologia edukacji regionalnejteleologia edukacjiteleologiaeducationregional educationlocalism educationcatechesisintegral catechesiscatecheticsteleology of regional educationteleology of educationteleologyTeleologia edukacji regionalnej w katechezie integralnejThe Teleology of Local Education in Integral CatechesisArticle
