Since the publication of these papers, tere has been a chaos in the nomenclature. Several attempts have been made to determine the „quality” of marriage. It is this term - quality - Spanier and Lewis proposed to cover all the terms used previously: adaptation, satisfaction, success, hapiness, integration. In the 1960s attempts to construct a marriage theory started to be made (Hill, Hansen) and were continued by Broderick, Burr, Hill, Nye, Reiss. Work has been carried out on systems theory (Wedemeyer, Grotevant) and the theory of symbolic interactionism (Berger, Kellner), as well as studies concerning interaction in marriage, the formation of relations between husband and wife, the stability of marriage, openess of husband and wife, family planing and family crises. Attempts have also been made at typologies of marriage (Lederer, Jackson, Shostrom, Kavanaugh, Neill). Polish socio-psychologic literature considers problems of transformations of marriage, models of marriage, conditions formarital success, preparation for life in marriage, as well as problems of marital love, the stability of marriage, sexual relations, natural delivery and upbringing of children.plAttribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/pl/psychologiamałżeństwobadania psychologiczneproblemy małżeńskienaukapsychologymarriagestudyfamilyrodzinamarital problemspsychological examinationsProblematyka badań psychologicznych dotyczących małżeństwaPsychologic studies on problems of marriageArticle
