Abstrakt
We are witnessing routine as regards the celebration of the Holy Mass, the sacraments, and devotions. Most ministers lack that ardour with which they emanated in the beginning of the regeneration of the Holy Liturgy in the Roman-Catholic Church. Therefore there is an urgent need to talk about a permanent regeneration of the Liturgy. The Liturgy is not, nor it wants to be, a reality that does not undergo changes. The author of this study points to six basic statements which must be re-considered and answered, so that each participant of the Liturgy could experience the reality of the Church. They are as follows: 1. “Each liturgical celebration is a work of Christ the Priest and His Body, that is the Church” (KL 7, 4); 2. “The Liturgy is the summit and source of life in the Church” (KL 10); 3. “The nature of the Liturgy calls for a full, conscious, and active participation in its rites” (KL 14); 4. “The Liturgy is an effective sign of the Church” (KL 26); 5. “While preserving unity, one should allow for diversity” (KL 38); 6. “There is a relationship between a more profound liturgical life of a parish and the development of a parochial fellowship” (KL 42, 2).
