Abstrakt
In the light of the theological reflection border experiences connected with the human life and therapy have specific sources and purposefulness. Making efforts to help to understand them can benefit the spiritual and psychological way of living through states of illness, pain, suffering, and fears. In the theological perspective, health embraces the spiritual and physical condition and can be defined as a strength of maintaining the dignity of the human being. It means that maintaining the homeostasy of the human body is not its only character. It has alsosocial, moral and religious range. In the context of the theological thought, the problem of suffering and death do not lose anything from its existential intensity, but simultaneously can be considered in terms of spiritual and creative activities. The theoretical aim of this article is to portray a Christian vision of health, suffering, and death. An attempt at describing the positive influence of the theological reflection on health care, understanding of the necessity of the active cooperation between the patient and health service, and on the feeling of freedom from fear of suffering and death is the practical aim of the article.
