Kauzalna teoria czasu George’a Lechalasa

Abstract

George Lechalas was a French mathematician and philosopher which contributed to the development of the causal theory of time. He started a new period of this theory because he moved it from the domain of philosophy to the domain of science. This article presents short analysis of his arguments and includes some interpretation of them, which is based on H. Mehlberg’s essays. The paper consists of three items: in the first one, the principle of determinism defining the temporal order is expounded; in the second and third – physical and psycho-physiological reversibility is considered.
