Pojęcie małżeństwa na podstawie prawa polskiego i prawa kanonicznego

Abstract

In accordance with the provisions of the law in effect in Poland, a marriage can be entered into by way of either of the two fundamental forms - secular or religious. Per the Family and Guardianship Code, a marriage is entered into when a man and a woman, both simultaneously present, exchange their wedding vows in the presence of a marriage clerk at a Registrar’s Office or in the presence of a member of the clergy. In this dissertation, the author introduces the notion of marriage in both legal systems in question.
