The apparitions were witnessed by three children: Francisco and Jacinta Marto, and Lucia dos Santos. During the third apparition, on July 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima conveyed the message to the children that the then-ongoing World War I was coming to an end, but if people continued to offend God, an even more terrible war would break out. To prevent this, it would be necessary to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady and receive Holy Communion of reparation on the first Saturdays of the month. According to this message, if these conditions are met, Russia will convert and peace will reign in the world. The author of this article focuses on this Russian aspect of the Message of Fatima. He analyzes the acts of consecration performed by individual popes. He concludes that they proved only partially effective. The Soviet empire, which spread Marxism throughout the world, collapsed, but the errors of Marxism, in the form of neo-Marxism, continue to dominate in Europe and America. Many researchers believe that the reason for this state of affairs is that the papal consecrations were incomplete or delayed. The conversion of Russia itself, as mentioned in the 1917 Fatima message, involves, above all, a necessary change in moral attitudes (for example, the rejection of pro-abortion laws or a break with imperial policies), but also a concern for preserving the untainted Christian faith. Today, prayer for unity and harmony between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church is crucial. This is about restoring the relations that united the Greek (Slavic) East and the Latin West before the disastrous schism in the 11th century.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z konferencji Stowarzyszenia Homiletów Polskich: Głoszenie Dobrej Nowiny poza liturgią (Przemyśl, Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne, 7-9 września 2025 r.)Mazur, Jan (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Zakonu Świętego Pawła Pierwszego Pustelnika, 2025)
