Pozycja Bp Edward Ozorowski, Kult męczenników w archidiecezji białostockiej, Białystok 2000, ss. 155.Misiurek, Jerzy (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2001)Pozycja Mistyczne zjednoczenie z Bogiem według św. Grzegorza z Nysy († 394)Misiurek, Jerzy (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2001)Gregory of Neisse is an outstanding theologian and mystic of the Eastern Church. On the basis of Origenes’ thought he built foundations for the theology of spirituality. In his works he stressed that man created in God’s “image” and “likeness” tends to Him by his nature, but he formulated man’s relation to God in dialectical terms, especially those of “light” and “darkness” Experiencing God presupposes purity of morals and a virtuous life. He thought that the mystery of Incarnation is brought closer to man by contemplation of God and of His love towards His creatures. He stressed the significance of “apathea” and of a life “similar to that of the angels” in order to draw the reader’s attention to aiming at unification with God. He had a strong influence on Pseudo-Dyonisius the Areopagite and St Maxim the Confessor.Pozycja Specyfika charyzmatu kapłańskiego powołania (na przykładzie świadectwa błogosławionych męczenników lubelskich)Misiurek, Jerzy (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2001)The hierarchical priesthood is not the personal grace of a man who has taken holy orders, but it has a charismatic character; so by its very nature it is destined to serve others, to serve God’s people who fulfill their religious tasks. From the moment of taking the holy orders the priest’s whole existence is directed to a voluntary service to the universal and local Church. The priestly vocation that as its aim has a particular care for redemption of the self and of others is also called charisma. The priests-martyrs of World War II period from the Lublin district – Blessed Bishop Władysław Góral, Blessed Rev. Kazimierz Gostyński, Blessed Rev Stanisław Mysakowski, Blessed Rev Zygmunt Pisarski and Blessed Rev. Antoni Zawistowski loyally fulfilled their duties of serving God and the neighbour, even in extermination camps. Along with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that they offered – as far as it was possible for them – secretly even in concentration camps, they made a sacrifice of their own lives for the loyalty to Christ, His Church and their Homeland.
