The crisis of the welfare state led both theoreticians and practitioners to search for new solutions in the field of social services. Although the role of social services in the social security system and social work is beyond doubt and in terms of social crisis – even growing pool of benefits to both their standard and availability are very controversial. Pluralism in social policy, which is an instrument for the socialization and increased efficiency, also tends to reflect on the new challenges and threats to the social services system as a consequence of systemic changes.
