The prophets of Israel during the VIIIth century BC took the new interpretation of historical events on the base of previous tradition. Present paper allows to show the new elements in their teaching: establishing of the new Israel’s kingdom in messianic times, the role of the „rest of Israel” and, as an important conclusion, new moral consequences of the vocation and the covenant of people.
