Drawing on John Paul IIʼs encyclical Fides et Ratio, this article is about the mindʼs capacity to know the truth. God Himself has implanted in the heart of man the desire to know the truth, the ultimate goal of which is to know Himself, so that man, in knowing and loving God, may attain to the full truth about himself. In order to reflect the essence of the relationship with faith and reason, this paper deals with the knowledge of truth through thinking and the harmony between faith and reason.
