Pozycja Wkład greckiej myśli patrystycznej w naukę konstytucji “Lumen gentium” o naturze KościołaJeliński, Przemysław (Akademia Teologii Katolickiej w Warszawie, 1997)The nature of the Church was expressed in Dogmatic Constitution on the Church “Lumen gentium” by numerous pictures and new expressions. They refer to the Bible and patristic. There is necessary to put special attention on two of expressions. These are: the mystery of the Church and new people of God. The Second Vatican Council used those oues to name two of titles of chapters of “Lumen gentium”. In this article speeches o f the Greek Fathers o f the Church are detailed analysed. Council document refers to them in glosses only 8 numbers – 4 in each chapter – contain references to greek patristic. Totaly in 12 glosses to chapter I and II constitution refers to 10 Greek Fathers of the Church and to anonymous patristic text “Didache”. In final part of this work the development of patristic period was summarized in chronological aspect. It began from “Didache”, then Irenaeus and John Chrysostom, and finally John of Damascus. In comparison to the whole constitution with reference to the nature of the Church (as the mistery and new people of God) there is very little patristic inspiration. In this article analitic and comparative method was used. Speeches of the Fathers of the Church were not only analyzed, but also compared to council texts. Thanks to that it can be like a small anthology of patristic ideas.
