    This paper present the history of the Exodus as the symbol of the baptism in manuscripts of Fathers of Church from II to a decline of IV Century A. D. The autor shows on the basis of manuscripts that not only the moment of passage of sea was the symbol of the baptism. Fathers compared all events of the Exodus to stages of the baptismal sacrament. The autor tries to present two movements in the interpretation the Exodus as the symbol of the baptism.
