Pozycja Czesław Parzyszek, Nowa ewangelizacja – drogą Kościoła do nadziei. Refleksje w oparciu o nauczanie Jana Pawła II (Biblioteka Instytutu Teologii Apostolstwa 10), Wydawnictwo Apostolicum, Ząbki 2010, ss. 502Giemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2011)Pozycja Jan Paweł II jako promotor „nowego feminizmu”Giemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2019)The author reflects upon and portrays the history and sense of the term ‘the new feminism’. It was the Pope who introduced the phrase to the philosophical- theological terminology. He applied it to women and encouraged them to become its promoters. Since John Paul II didn’t explicitly define the meaning of the term, discovering its sense through the contexts in which “the new feminism” appears, has proven necessary. Therefore the article analyses the Pope’s teaching associated with the theology of the body and the theology of marriage and family, as well as his teaching about the contemporary threats concerning particularly human sexuality. The changes associated with the human sexuality, which have not only been proposed, but are also being implemented, affect the fundamental truth about the human as a man and a woman. These changes have consequences for the existence of marriage and family, and for the social life as well. In such a context of civilization transformations, an appeal of the Pope for promoting the new feminism is becoming understandable. The issues connected with this term are topical, therefore, the last part of the article focuses on some cases which should become an object of further research.Pozycja Kościół wobec dyktatury relatywizmuGiemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2008)The Church, while fulfilling the mission of evangelization entrusted to her by Jesus Christ, does not act in an empty and sterile space, but in particular cirumstances of time and place. Transformation of civilization and passing from society of lot into society of choice influence changes in the Church’s role in society. This role is interpreted in a narrow manner and reduced to the compensation for social needs and assistance in overcoming fragility of human life. One of the greatest challenges the mission of the Church is facing today is relativism, which under slogans of dialogue and freedom, tolerance and respect for different views, in reality means resignation from the search for truth and from reaching it. In such situation proclaming the truth about uniqueness of salvation offered us by Christ, provokes accusations of fundamentalism and of putting limits on human freedom. An example, which well illustrates such attitude was the protest against Benedict XVI’s visit to La Sapienza University in January 2008, which eventually resulted in its cancellation. In the new socio-cultural situation the Church cannot close herself as in a beset fortress or in the name of corectness and fitting in, resign from proclaiming the whole message of the Gospel. She must learn instead to present and to witness in a new way the universal truth of the Gospel in the pluralistic society. Theology, theologians and priests play substantial part in this respect. Their task is to undertake the efforts of defining anew the Church-world relationship. The mystery of the Incarnation of Christ is a vivid sign of God’s continuous presence in human history.Pozycja Nowa ewangelizacja wyzwaniem dla Kościoła w Polsce. Konferencja naukowa. Katowice 27 października 2011 r.Giemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2012)Pozycja Obchody Roku Jadwiżańskiego 2017–2018 w metropolii wrocławskiejGiemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2017)Between October 16th, 2016 and October 16th, 2017 Saint Hedwig’s Year was celebrated for the second time in the Metropoly of Wrocław. The 750th anniversary of Saint Hedwig of Silesia’s canonization became an inspiration for announcing this year as Saint Hedwig’s Year. She is venerated, among others, as the patron saint of Silesia and of the Archdiocese of Wrocław. It should be mentioned that the first Saint Hedwig’s Year in the Archdiocese of Wrocław was celebrated in the years 1992–1993, during the 750th anniversary of Saint Hedwig’s death. In this article the reasons for declaring Hedwig’s Year and the issues related to its organization were first indicated. Jubilee celebrations took place on several levels: religious, scientific, cultural and social. The International Sanctuary of Saint Hedwig in Trzebnica, where the Patron’s tomb is located, was the centre of the celebration. That is why the celebrations which took place there, were highlighted. The indulgence celebrations in the name of Saint Hedwig in 2016 and 2017, connected with the beginning and the end of the jubilee, metropolitan pilgrimages to Trzebnica, of various states, groups, organizations and dioceses, were mentioned. Scientific symposiums and conferences, as well as publications and a catechetical competition, were important elements of the jubilee celebrations. This was discussed further on. Saint Hedwig’s year was also an inspiration for cultural activities. Numerous concerts, artistic exhibitions, as well as parish and monastic festivals took place. On the social level it is worth mentioning that Saint Hedwig was awarded the highest distinction, that is the title of the Honorary Citizen of Lower Silesia CIVI HONORARIO, by the Regional Council of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, and that the Catholic Association “Civitas Christiana” awarded the International Sanctuary of Saint Hedwig of Silesia in Trzebnica with the Prize of Juliusz Ligoń. During Saint Hedwig’s Year, Archbishop Józef Kupny, the Metropolitan of Wrocław, established the “Medal of Saint Hedwig of Silesia”. This is the highest award that will be given in the Archdiocese of Wrocław.Pozycja Odpoczynek w procesie formacji kapłańskiej i zakonnejGiemza, Bogdan (Wydawnictwo Diecezji Zielonogórsko-Gorzowskiej, 2005)Pozycja Piotra i nasza droga wiary do JezusaGiemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2008)Pozycja „Proście Pana żniwa”. Osiemdziesiąt lat praktyki dnia kapłańskiegoGiemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2014)The number and quality of priestly and religious vocations is the key issue for the life of the Church. The practice of so-called first Thursdays of the month originated in the Church in 1934. It involves offering within a given day of every month of the mass and Holy Communion as well as other prayers, work, suffering and joy through the intercession of Mary, for the sanctification of priests and religious persons, and for the numerous and good vocations to the service of God. The initiator of this practice was a Salvatorian priest, Fr. Paschalis Schmid (1887–1957). The article “Pray to the Lord of the harvest”. Eighty years of celebrating the Priest’s Day shows an overview of the origins and the essential elements of this pastoral initiative, highlighting its timeliness, which is not so much due to the respect for history, but because it touches the sensitive element of the vocation Ministry.Pozycja Rekolekcje jako ważny element formacji kapłańskiej.
