The text consists of three parts. In the first one the characteristic of the modern civilization is considered; then, the second one is dedicated to the presentation of some crises of this civilization. These crises are manifested mainly in the application of new discoveries of the science and technology in spreading evil and in the destruction of man. In the third part the author shows us how to heal this civilization. The main medicine that can cure the technical civilization is to stress the role of ethical values in science and technology. The author formulates the following rules in regard to the scientific and technological human activity: a) the scientific research and their application cannot go against the dignity of man who shouldn’t be treated as a thing or an instrument in the research and application process; b) the scientific research and its technical effects cannot be directed immediately toward destruction of human life or as a threat to human survival; c) the scientific research and technology cannot immediately endanger the self-realization of man and the realization of his ultimate vocation.
