Spiritual guidance is one of the tools used by the Church. Spiritual guidance is the individual guidance of a Christian on God’s path is a way to teach him to listen to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit and to answer it, and is also a special help in practicing virtues appropriate to the state of life and the current situation. The purpose of this article is to show the value of spiritual direction in the modern world, referring to the history of the church and paying attention to the contemporary context of spiritual direction and certain conditions that are important in undertaking this spiritual practice.
