Pozycja Wyjście z Egiptu jako przejaw Bożego miłosierdzia na podstawie Wj 15,1-21 ‒ w reinterpretacji Psalmu 136Kurzeja, Krzysztof (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego UO, 2021)The context of the research was that on December 8, 2015, Pope Francis declared the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, also known as the Year of Mercy, in order for Christians to become “merciful like the Father.” The purpose of the study became to show that God in the Old Testament is full of mercy, compassion and pity. Historical-critical methods and rhetorical analysis (Hebrew rhetoric) were applied. The results have been achieved: a scientific reflection on the Book of Exodus, its structure, authorship and the time of its composition has been made; an analysis of the “Song of Victory” (Exodus 15:1-21); Psalm 136 was examined and compared with the “Song of Victory". A conclusion was drawn: the exodus from Egypt was a work of Gods mercy.
