Also, the discovery of common human needs and inadequacy of possibilities to make up for them singly, is a call for cooperation. Recognizing the truth of equal dignity of each individual generates well balanced appraisal of and certain measure of respect for others, similarly to recognition of transsubjective personal needs of people concerning the sense of their lives and their paramount destiny. In the article Religious Dialogue and its Areas, the author analyses the concept of “dialogue” He argues, that among multiple definitions of dialogue, there exists an interpersonal approach, pointing to the need for and possibility of generating space for building relationship with others. However, a proper way to achieve this is not through confrontation, but discussion, dialogue and cooperation. Dialogue manifests itself among persons of mature, well formed personality, which adapts an individual to effective and creative functioning in society. Unlike non-religious dialogue, religious dialogue is explicitly defined by the presence of the transcendental element. Religious dialogue introduces vertical relationship to social life, where mutual relations are developed horizontally. Metaphorically speaking, one can say that religious dialogue is like a “tango to the rhythm of God’s music” Religious dialogue – the author of the article maintains – should develop in three areas: inside the Church (pastoral dialogue), interdenominationally (ecumenical dialogue) and interreligiously (missionary dialogue). Realizing the opportunities, the need for and simply the necessity of dialogue, including religious dialogue within die Church, one should refer to the attitude of Church Fathers, which promotes fighting against mistakes and loving those who are mistaken.
