These are especially the four publications: The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church (1993), The Jewish People and Their Sacred Scriptures in the Christian Bible (2001), The Bible and Morality. Biblical Roots of Christian Conduct (2008) and The Inspiration and Truth of Sacred Scripture. The Word that Comes from God and Speaks of God for the Salvation of the World (2014). In the light of these documents the right post-conciliar Church’s response to the so-called “exegetical issue” can be read, which in recent years was associated with many interpretational difficulties. In our times the phenomenon of gender arouses a great interest and at the same time is associated with many controversies. The stand of moral theologians in Poland on this issue is quite clear. According to them the ideology of gender is associated with m any inherent risks concerning the cultural, social, political, marital and family life. Undoubtedly the efforts to underline the equality between men and women are very important, but the equality doesn’t concern their total identity. Since then, the attitude of tolerance towards such couples was more and more widespread, but it does not mean them to be equal with marriage and family. Today, however, in the context of the newly published document of EKD, entitled “Zwischen Autonomie und Angewiesenheit”, the equal rights for samesex unions and their blessing on a par with marriage are postulated.
