Pozycja Dwóch biskupów kamieńskich z rodu von Sachsen-Lauenburg (Jan I i Magnus)Prokop, Krzysztof Rafał (Szczecińskie Wydawnictwo Archidiecezjalne „Ottonianum", 1992)John I (1317-1370) from prince’s house of Sachsen-Lauenburg. Being an archdeacon of Dymin (Demmin) he became on 3rd of September 1343 an ordinary bishop of St John Baptist’s see in Kamień (Canmin). The most part of his rule he devoted to fighting for pope’s exemption for Kamień diocese. Those struggles and legal proceedings in the Papal Curia were going on in two periods: from 1343 to 1349 and from 1360 to 1380. Finally pope’s exemption was granted to Kamień bishopric on 13 th of July, 1380 by pope Urban V (after the death of bishop John I). He actively participated in local dynastic conflicts with the thought o f creation a separate bishop’s principality (with capital in Kamień) as a direct feoff of the Reich. His efforts in this field was ended in failure and he had to submit to native princes again. Bishop John I was a prominent organizer and manager of lands of his diocese. Under his rules many chantries were endowed and a lot of churches were built or restored. In forty years after his death, the close relative of bishop John - Magnus von Sachsen-Lauenburg, was nominated to episcopal capital in Kamień. Magnus (d. 1452) was bishop of Kamień at difficult times during the threefold papal schism and Council in Constance. In 1424 he had left Kamień and took up bishopric in Hildesheim (Lower Saxony).Pozycja Magnus von Sachsen-Lauenburg. Karola Boromeusza do diecezji krakowskiej (1626/1627)Prokop, Krzysztof Rafał (Wydawnictwo Naukowe Papieskiej Akademii Teologicznej w Krakowie, 2004)Saint Charles Borromeo (d. 1584), cardinal and archbishop of Milan since 1560, canonized in 1610, is numbered among the most popular saints of the post-Tridentine Catholic Church. His cult remains still lively in many countries, while his relics are venerated in different places of Europe. In Poland little town Niepołomice near Cracow is considered to be the oldest centre of cult of Saint Charles Borromeo, but there are no relics of this famous Patron. In the light of recognized archival sources very picturesque situated church of Saint Charles Borromeo in Karczówka (Mount o f Saint Charles) near Kielce was first sanctuary in territories of the pre-partition Poland with relics of this canonized archbishop of Milan. That sanctuary was founded in 1624 by Martin Szyszkowski, bishop of Cracow, who obtained mentioned relics (particle of bowels) from cardinal Frederic Borromeo (cousin of Saint Charles), archbishop of Milan of that times, in 1626 (1627). In years 1631-1864 custodians of church in Karczówka as well of these relics were Franciscans-Observants, in Poland called Bernardines. The present article refers to the lengthy circumstances of that pious foundation of bishop Martin Szyszkowski (d. 1630) from 17th the century.Pozycja Sukcesja święceń biskupich pasterzy Kościoła krakowskiego w latach 1804–2005Prokop, Krzysztof Rafał (Wydawnictwo Naukowe Papieskiej Akademii Teologicznej w Krakowie, 2005)Pozycja Sukcesja święceń biskupich pasterzy Kościoła krakowskiego w XVIII stuleciuProkop, Krzysztof Rafał (Wydawnictwo Naukowe Papieskiej Akademii Teologicznej w Krakowie, 2007)
