The author is tending to put in order all the questions which are connected with the natural law. He indicates that, nonetheless the presence of the concept of natural law in the history of juridical thought is the result of looking for the foundation for positive law, it never succeeded in this task. He suggests that it is the result of the ambiguity of the natural law notion and its unclear relation to the law contained in the Revelation. On the other hand Church makes a great effort to „rehabilitate” natural law, because of its values for the contemporary society. The questions based on natural law conception may be classified into three main categories: the historical development of the idea of natural law, relation between natural and positive law, „naturalization” of natural law.
