Pozycja Bohdan T. Woronowicz, Uzależnienia. Geneza, terapia, powrót do zdrowia, Wydawnictwo Media Rodzina, Poznań 2009, ss. 672Wielebski, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2009)Pozycja Dialog „ad intra” i „ad extra” Kościoła w PolsceWielebski, Tomasz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2016)The Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World resulting from the Second Vatican Councilappeals to all people for developing the dialog in accordance with the following rule: Hence, let there be unity in what is necessary; freedom in what is unsettled, and charity in any case (GS 92). The 50th anniversary of issuing this document is a great opportunity to take a good look at the Church in Poland in the context of performing the dialog both ad intra and ad extra. The author is seeking an answer to the question to what extent the directions of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church included in the teaching of the Second Vatican Council and the Encyclical Ecclesiam suam of Paul VI concerning the essence and rules of carrying on the dialog are reflected in the Polish reality, both within the Magisterium and the everyday practice. First, he introduces the general character and types of the dialog, and, next, he presents how the dialog should be carried on, basing on the chosen texts of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Then, he presents, how the teaching about the dialogue is done by the Church in Poland, both in the ad intra (diocesan and parish pastoral councils) and ad extra context (ecumenism, Islam, Judaism). Finally, the author discusses his conclusions and pastoral postulates.Pozycja Duszpasterska posługa Kościoła w szpitalach i hospicjachWielebski, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2003)Pozycja Duszpasterstwo chorych w parafiiWielebski, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2008)Pozycja Działalność parafialnych rad duszpasterskich w Polsce. Między ideałem a rzeczywistościąWielebski, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2014)In speech given to the priests in Assisi on October 3, 2013, Pope Francis stressed the fact that the Pastoral Councils encourage the Pastors and the faithful to listen to each other carefully. He also noticed that a parish priest cannot lead a parish without the Pastoral Councils. Many documents issued by the Magisterium present their role in transforming the Church into communio, at the same time encouraging establishing such councils. In practice, this teaching of the Church is not always followed properly. Referring to one of the paradigms of the pastoral theology, called paradigm of three-stage theological-pastoral analysis, the author presented the idea of Pastoral Councils’ activity in Poland. This paradigm is presented in the form of practical syllogism, in which the bigger proposition means the divinely revealed rule, discovered as a result of searching through theological teachings, while the smaller proposition means the data received from sociological, psychological, pedagogical and other researches. The conclusion, being the rule of accomplishing of the Church, is of theological character. Firstly, the author presented the teaching of the Magisterium of the universal and local Church in Poland, referring to the Pastoral Councils’ activity, which at the next stage was confronted with the results of the sociological researches done in 2012- 2013 together with the members of the Practical Theology Institute (Specialty: Pastoral Theology) and members of the Institute of Catholic Church Statistics SAC. These reflections resulted in forming numerous pastoral postulates, referring to the way in which the Pastoral Councils should function in Poland. Implementation of these postulates may lead to transforming a parish into a community of communities.Pozycja Komplementarność teologii pastoralnej i duszpasterstwaWielebski, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2010)Defining pastoral (practical) theology in his apostolic exhortation Pastores dabo vobis, John Paul II wrote that it is a scientific reflection on the Church as it is built up daily, by the power of the Spirit, in history; on the Church as the universal sacrament of salvation, as a living sign and instrument of the salvation wrought by Christ through the word, the sacraments and the service of charity (PDV 57). By showing the essence of this theological discipline, he also pointed out the problem of the pastoral character of theology as a whole, which is tied to the relationship between high scientific standards in theology and its pastoral aim (PDV 55). John Paul II emphasized that such characteristics of theology are not opposed to each other, but work together, from different angles, in favor of a more complete understanding of the faith. According to the pope, the pastoral character of theology is related on one hand to the fact that the study of theology, taking into account the genuinely scientific character of individual theological disciplines, helps train pastors of souls as teachers of faith, and on the other causes the awareness that there is a pastoral goal in view to influence the approach to theology of future priests. Writing about the pastoral ity of theology, the pope accents the fact that theology enables future priests to proclaim the Gospel message through the cultural modes of their age and to direct pastoral action according to authentic theological vision (PDV 55). The purpose of this article is an attempt to demonstrate the complementarity of pastoral theology and pastoral care. The author has first described the notion and issues of pastoral theology, showing its purpose, material and formal subjects, and methodology. Later the article shows the essence of pastoral care and its divisions. The author’s considerations culminate in indicating the complementarity of the two described realities. They are neither directly unified nor absolutely different. The doctrinal and pastoral dimensions of the Church’s life and activity are complementary with respect to each other, forming a bipolar and varied unity. The theory of Church activities proposed by pastoral theology in constructed theological models and corresponding pastoral imperatives and programs needs to be tested in practice. On the other hand, pastoral practice verifies the theological models of salutary activities proposed by pastoral theology, either confirming or rejecting the suggestions they contain (this does not, of course, apply to the teachings of the Church Magisterium, but to the manner in which they are put into practice). For the Church to correctly realize its mission as a salutary mediator in the rapidly changing world subject to various currents of contemporary times, there is a need for a constant dialogue between pastoral care theoreticians and practicians who will read the signs of the times and update the method of proclaiming the salutary message of Christ together.Pozycja Olgierd Krzysztof Benedyktowicz, Duszpasterstwo i psychoterapia.
