    Beznamiętność chrześcijańska. Dwugłos prawosławno-metodystyczny
Zuber, Dariusz (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego Uniwersytetu Opolskiego, 2009)
The article describes the conception of Christian impassive from the Orthodox and Methodist theological perspective. I show some similarity and differences in Christian impassive understanding between those two theology traditions. At firstly I describe the nearest horizon of meaning of Christian impassive in Methodist and Orthodox theology. The issue of Christian impassive is described in eastern theology as theosis and western theology as theology of sanctification. The second part presents the idea of Christian impassive in example of the Orthodox apatheia and the Methodist perfection in love. Comparison of those conceptions of theologies shows that the Orthodox apatheia and the Methodist perfection in love are the same understanding the purpose of Christian existence.

Article presents the ecclesiology of the founder of Methodist Church rev. John Wesley. The first chapter describes the functioning of Methodist Associations in the context of their theological and formal ties with Anglican Church. The differences and similarities between Anglicanism and Methodism (its early version) are the main point of the chapter. The second chapter presents the crucial points of Wesley’s ecclesiology. At first part of the chapter the main points of Wesleyan understanding of church are deeply described (oneness, unity, holiness, universality, apostolicity). The following parts of the chapter are devoted to analysis of the means of grace and sacraments and also the system of government in Methodist Church, especially the understanding of the role of bishop in the church. This part of article is crucial because it shows the Wesleyan withdrawal from Anglican ecclesiology. It influenced on founding of Episcopal Methodist Church in America what happened when Wesley was living. The last chapter characterizes the doctrinal rules which were established by Wesley and also the process of their creation and their background.

Zuber, Dariusz (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego Uniwersytetu Opolskiego, 2010)
The article describes the pastors ministry in the Evangelical-Methodist Church from a theological, practical and ecumenical perspective. The first chapter discusses the theological analysis of the pastor’s office and its m inistry from the biblical and evangelical theology perspective. In the final chapter author shows the view of Methodism. The second part presents the practical aspects of the Methodist pastoral m inistry in Poland. The presentation of this matter comes from the analysis of the law and liturgical documents as well as The Book of Discipline in the United Methodist Church. Then the author shows the pastors m inistry as an individual way in the theology of sanctification, and then as a servant leadership in the congregation and the society. The last chapter answers the question: W hat does it mean to be a pastor in the Evangelical-Methodist Church in Poland from ecumenical perspective?
