Pozycja Biskupi rzecznikami ubogich i ewangelicznego ubóstwa: grupa „Jezus – Kościół – ubodzy” na trzeciej sesji Soboru Watykańskiego IIPietrzak, Andrzej (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2024)The article, based on unpublished archival materials from the Archives of the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium, analyzes the activities of the “Jesus – Church – poor” group during the third session of the Second Vatican Council. The author focuses on three issues: 1. The symbolic gesture of Paul VI, who donated his papal tiara to the poor and needy. The author discusses the event, its context – especially the encyclical Ecclesiam Suam – and the implications for the group, especially reinforcing the need for practical decisions; 2. Two petitions to the pope on poverty and the simplicity of the Church’s life and the evangelization of the poor. The author analyzes the content of the petitions and their impact on the Council’s deliberations; 3. The “Jesus –Church – poor” collaboration with Cardinal Giacomo Lercaro in preparing a report on poverty at the request of Paul VI, and in particular the three-part study by Bishop Marcos McGrath, Fr. Yves Congar, and Bishop John Wright.Pozycja Katechista, katecheta czy mistagog liturgiczny? Perspektywa teologiczna listu apostolskiego „Antiquum ministerium”Głowacki, Zbigniew (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2024)The introduction of the new catechetical ministry has raised many questions in the Church about its identity. In the Church in Poland it has also raised problems of terminology. The article deals with the problem of the theological understanding of the ministry of the catechist in the light of the Apostolic Letter Antiquum Ministerium. The starting point is an analysis of this document. On this basis, the essential elements of the ministry introduced are indicated, which is not limited to the intellectual transmission of the faith, but refers to the totality of Christian life. The ministry of the catechist in relation to the liturgy is also presented. Although the Letter does not specify the specific tasks of the catechist, it provides a key to understanding this ministry. Since it is existential in nature, it should be carried out as the primary form of transmitting the faith in Christian initiation. The second place where it should be carried out is in the permanent catechesis of the parish. A special place for the catechist is the preparation for the sacraments, which should be carried out according to the mystagogical method.Pozycja Multimedia wsparciem dla katechezy – szanse i zagrożeniaZając, Marian (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2024)The analysis presented in this article unequivocally confirms that multimedia must be incorporated into catechesis. This necessity arises from the transformation of contemporary educational processes, which have shifted from passive relationships between teachers and learners to new dynamics of mutual interaction. This transformation enables catechesis to fulfil its educational objectives more effectively. The analysis and interpretation of relevant directives contained in selected Church documents and theological publications on multimedia were employed to elucidate the issues outlined in the title. Conclusions and recommendations were formulated using the synthesis method. The key findings highlight that the transmission of catechetical content and potential Christian formation must take place in an environment that aligns with the realities of contemporary learners, which is inherently multimedia-driven. Building strong support for multimedia-assisted catechesis should begin with demonstrating its educational potential, followed by preparing catechists to use multimedia tools effectively. The multimedia applications proposed in this article are well-suited to current socio-cultural transformations, particularly the increasing indifference toward catechesis. The topic addressed in this study is original and aims to contribute to the ongoing discussion on the development of a cultural catechesis concept in a secularised Polish society.
