Pozycja Aktualne wyzwania dla formacji katechetów w środowisku parafialnymZellma, Anna (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2024)The formation of catechists is a critical aspect analyzed from various perspectives and within diverse contexts. Researchers predominantly focus on issues related to the formation process in individual dioceses. This study aims to illuminate the current state of catechist formation in the parish and the challenges inherently associated with it. The investigation draws primarily from the results of a survey conducted among catechists in Poland. The opinions of respondents regarding the organization of catechists’ meetings in the parish are presented. The study delves into the frequency and types of formation activities, highlighting Masses dedicated to the intentions of catechists and examining cooperation among those involved in parish activities. The findings indicate that catechists express a positive perception of their formation within the parish. They underscore the significance of valuing the parish community as a privileged space for formation, where the catechetical vocation takes root and develops, and where the faith of catechists is both revitalized and strengthened.Pozycja Multimedia wsparciem dla katechezy – szanse i zagrożeniaZając, Marian (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2024)The analysis presented in this article unequivocally confirms that multimedia must be incorporated into catechesis. This necessity arises from the transformation of contemporary educational processes, which have shifted from passive relationships between teachers and learners to new dynamics of mutual interaction. This transformation enables catechesis to fulfil its educational objectives more effectively. The analysis and interpretation of relevant directives contained in selected Church documents and theological publications on multimedia were employed to elucidate the issues outlined in the title. Conclusions and recommendations were formulated using the synthesis method. The key findings highlight that the transmission of catechetical content and potential Christian formation must take place in an environment that aligns with the realities of contemporary learners, which is inherently multimedia-driven. Building strong support for multimedia-assisted catechesis should begin with demonstrating its educational potential, followed by preparing catechists to use multimedia tools effectively. The multimedia applications proposed in this article are well-suited to current socio-cultural transformations, particularly the increasing indifference toward catechesis. The topic addressed in this study is original and aims to contribute to the ongoing discussion on the development of a cultural catechesis concept in a secularised Polish society.
