Abstract

These considerations satisfy the requirements of rational discourse that served resolving philosophical disputes not only on the Areopagus, but in the bosom of the young Church, building the intellectual foundations of the faith. Athenagoras did not err in combating allegations of the Gentiles in the field of religious explant only.
