Abstract

In his creative plan God made a man and a woman a married couple in his own image and likeness. On the basis of the key taken from the area of Biblical theology the author of the article tries to answer the question about the relations between the spouses and God as well as their relations to each other. The key is a kind of a guide to all the Biblical texts referring to marriage and family. The study consists of three parts: (i) God’s original plan; (ii) The experience of sin; (iii) Towards the new creature in Christ.
