Abstrakt
The author depicts the idea of a religious fellowship according to Stanisław Papczyński, the founder of Marian Fathers. The paper is based on his religious writings, among other things, on the first constitutions of the Marian Congregation, Norma vitae religiosae, on the manuscripts of his daily meditations, Inspectio cordis, and on his letters. The paper consists of three basic parts based on the terms used to define a religious fellowship: religio, congregano - ordo and communitas. The first part depicts S. Papczynski’s views on the fellowship understood as religio and shows religious life in terms of the following symbols: “harbour”, “holy city of Jerusalem”, “the gate of Ezekiel” and the “fold of Christ” Fellowship, understood as congregatio and ordo, is on the one hand an organized community, especially as regards its legal organization; on the other it is based on the theological-aesthetic contents. The concept of communitas in reference to a religious fellowship points to the role of interreligious.
