Abstrakt
The article presents the issue of God’s Glory revealed in Christ and the confirmation of this lact in liturgy. For the author, the point of departure for this thesis is the most convincing and richest scene of Christ’s Transfiguration that in its main assumptions is shown in the preface about the Transfiguration and in other euchologic texts. Revelation of the God’s glory in Christ exceeds the limits of a historical event and refers to the Messianic times, that is to the reality of liturgy in the Church, to the times of the Holy Spirit who effectively reveals the aspects of this glory in Christ as God, the Son, the Messiah, the High Priest of the New Covenant, the Lord and the End of the New Law. Christ as gloria Dei appears as the only Mediator in the act of Redemption, and the reason why God’s glory is revealed in Christ is salvation only. Christ as gloria Dei is the content of the whole mystery ot liturgy, mainly liturgy of Eucharist.
