W katechezie, ale i w innych przestrzeniach duszpasterskiej misji Kościoła, zauważa się obecnie intensywny powrót do Biblii jako do źródła. Kierunek ten związany jest z wezwaniem Kościoła do ewangelizacji, w tym nowej ewangelizacji, która ma obudzić wierzących letnich i dystansujących się od Kościoła. Nie zawsze rola Pisma Świętego w teologii była tak wyeksponowana. O wzajemnych relacjach teologii i Biblii na przestrzeni dziejów traktuje poniższy artykuł.In this article the role of the Bible in the history from the times of disciples to the present is presented. The actual stand of the Church about the Bible is an outcome of re-working the history of the relation between the Bible and theology, recognizing that the Bible, including the Old Testament, is the powerful tool of evagelisation, and that is true Word of God, addressed to a man.
