Alcuni aspetti valutativi del culto alla Magna Domina Hungarorum

Abstract

This article is an attempt to show the cult of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen and Patroness of Hungary in the context of the post-conciliar renewal of the Marian cult. The Hungarian Catholics have been venerating the Mother of Christ as their “Lady”. The titles of Our Lady of Hungary, Queen and Patroness of Hungary, even though they are used even today, are not following the requirements of the Marian renewal after the II. Vatican Council, especially regarding its anthropological, pneumatological and eschatological dimensions. A further and valid demand also arises, that the national characteristic of the cult shall not lead us away from either the persons of the Trinity or biblical– salvation-historical bases, or towards nationalising the Marian cult, but it shall always keep in sight that Our Lady of Hungary is also “Mother of All Nations”, who look upon every member of the Church as the “disciple, whom He loved”.

Niniejsze opracowanie stanowi próbę ukazania kultu NMP Królowej i Patronki Węgier w kontekście posoborowej odnowy kultu maryjnego. Węgierscy katolicy oddają szczególną cześć Matce Chrystusa jako swojej „Pani”. Tytuły Matki Bożej Węgierskiej Królowej i Patronki Węgier, choć są używane do dziś, nie odpowiadają wymogom odnowy maryjnej zainicjowanej po II Soborze Watykańskim, zwłaszcza w jego wymiarze antropologicznym, pneumatologicznym i eschatologicznym. Pojawiają się wciąż słuszne żądanie, aby narodowa charakterystyka kultu nie odciągała nas ani od osób Trójcy ani od podstaw historiozbawczych. Nie powinny prowadzić również do nacjonalizacji kultu maryjnego. Kult ten zawsze powinien mieć na uwadze, iż Matka Boża Węgierska jest także „Matką Wszystkich Narodów”, która uznaje każdego członka Kościoła jako „ucznia, którego Jezus miłuje”
