Kara wieczna i jej przeciwwaga w Mt 25,46

Abstract

„Kara wieczna” w Mt 25,31-46 to pojęcie symetryczne do „życia wiecznego”. Symetryzm cechuje całą jednostkę kompozycyjną, do której należy ta perykopa. Jest też ona realizacją modelu obecnego już w Ewangelii według św. Marka, ale rozwiniętego w Ewangelii według św. Mateusza. Model składa się z trzech części: przypowieści, separatora oraz alegoryzującej interpretacji początkowej przypowieści. W tym kontekście „kara wieczna” jest odpowiednikiem niedopuszczenia nierozumnych panien na ucztę weselną.“Eternal Punishment” in Mattew 25:31-46 is asymmetrical concept for “eternal life”. Symmetry characterizes the entire compositional unit to which this pericope belongs. It is also the implementation of the model already present in Mark, but developed in Matthew. The model consists of three parts: a parable, aseparator, and an allegorizing interpretation of the initial parable. In this context, the “eternal punishment” is the equivalent of rejecting of sensless girls from a possibility to participate in the wedding feast.
