Abstract

The aim of this article is to give an answer to a question: is the Theosophical Society given project of creation new world „overreligion", and if so, then which ones are her bases and character? I intend to read out Theosophical intention of religious globalization from religiological science point of view, in the context of theosophical system, at help of method of critical analysis of sources and systematizations of contents, which in the theosophical teaching qualify and base idea of religious globalization and to extraction from them of conclusions. On the basis of passed analysis, of the elements of theosophical project of global religion, I reached, that the Theosophical Society intends with proposal of solution of matter of lack of agreement of religion on the way their unification in one superior, total world religion, which I named pan religion. This pan religion would have to base an all of existing till now religions. It would have to be extremely universal and inseparably connected with situation of universal brotherhood of mankind. Because it would have to possess of absolute character and free from limitations of present religions (for example: lack of unity of confessors, doctrinal differences, aspectual forms, etc.). Basic foundations making possible to Theosophical Society formulating of pan religious aims are: acknowledgement of worldwide dualism of all religions, acknowledgement of equality and internal unities of all of religions and acknowledgement of absolute character of theosophy, which would have to be esoteric essence of all religion. Main mechanism pan religious unification lies on reinterpretation all of world religions according to Theosophical principles, on the way of removal from them unwanted elements and to realization new - theosophical, hermeneutics of these religions. The conclusion of this article is ascertainment, that pan religious intends of modem theosophy lies not on attempt of creation of the new religion, or straight line fusion of all of existing religions, but on something considerably more, on process of the reduction of all of the religions to the level of the theosophy and to introduction theosophy, as only one and universal religion. Consequence of this kind of idea of unification of religions is replacement existing pluralism of religions by theosophy. Theosophical project religious globalization shows to be kind of new, completely total, religious paradigm, intend to the world domination.
