Abstrakt

The religious freedom is not a privilege that man receives. It is rather inalienable title, right that belongs to every man because of the sheer fact of being a human being - in other words a rational and free creature. Every human being is subject to this right irrespective of the statutory law or any human action. The people of the church, and her leaders in particular have developed a concept of a human being that has been shaped on the basis of both Divine Revelation and with reference to generally accessible existential human experience. In the past century that vision was recalled by the Council of Vatican II, and was later further developed and presented to the World by Pope John Paul II. The truth of the human dignity and his transcendence amongst the rest of the creation takes prominent place in this vision. The teaching of the human personal dignity has become a central idea both in Pope John Paul’s philosophy and theology.
