„Kwestia żydowska” w świetle tygodnika „Myśl Katolicka” (1908-1914)

Abstract

The weekly magazine “Myśl Katolicka” (“The Catholic Thought”), which was being published in Częstochowa from 1908 to 1914, by a circle of lay Catholics, perceived existence of the “Jewish issue” in the Polish land and endeavoured to present its own standpoint to this question. The articles which brought up the subject were a warning to Poles against destructive and pernicious ‒ in the editors opinion ‒ activities of the Jews in Poland. The analize of the “Myśl Katolicka” articles leads to the conclusion that Polish anti-Semitism in that time had characteristics of a defensive movement against dominating of foreign elements.
