Abstract

Celem tekstu jest zaprezentowanie prasy katolickiej ukazującej się w Sandomierzu w latach 1907-2022. W artykule przybliżono historię czasopism o charakterze katolickim i ich zawartość. Autorka wskazała, że Kościół i skupione wokół niego redakcje katolickie pełniły od zawsze rolę mecenasa nauki i kultury, były też centrum myśli intelektualnej w Królewskim Mieście. Prasa katolicka miała duży wpływ w życie duchowne sandomierzan, kształtowała ich postawę społeczną i religijną, przyczyniała się do rozwoju myśli teologicznej.The aim of the text is to present the Catholic press published in Sandomierz in the years 1907-2022. The article presents the history of religious magazines and discusses their content. The author pointed out that the Church and the Catholic editorial offices gathered around it have always played the role of a patron of science and culture, and were also the center of intellectual thought in the Royal City. The Catholic press had a great influence on the spiritual life of Sandomierz residents, shaped social and religious attitudes, and contributed to the development of theological thought.
